My girlfriend is currently running Leopard and she wants to use a certain playstation game playing program. I set her up with a trial version of Crossover Office but it still has a few undesirable bugs. I'm an experienced Linux user with lots of knowledge of Wine's configuration options but not enough experience with Macs. Options?

Xelinis:

There is a more recent version of Wine, specifically built for OSX, called Darwine. Mike Kronenberg has created additional functionality for Leopard. You can Google for his web site and download his Darwine builds for Intel based Macs and try the latest one to see if the problem you encountered has been fixed. If it has not, please look at the Applications Database to see if the program exists for workarounds and/or bug reports. If the problem you are encountering is not fixed or has a workaround, please check Bugzilla if as bug report exists. If no report exists, please create one.

Thank you.
