(You might need to do something like "View / Show Hidden Files" in Nautilus, or ls -a, to see it.) If this really is the first thing you've tried to get running in Wine, that won't help. Still, it's worth trying. You might also try wine msiexec /i steamInstall.msi How did you install Wine? How (and why?) did you install Gecko? - Dan
