The Agent Blog Wrap-Up video is posted to the blog each Friday; anchor and Lead Copywriter Megan Mahan recaps the week's sales and insurance news, which is interspersed with informative, yet silly skits. One recent video included a series of sales affirmations, designed to encourage and entertain agents as they navigate the sometimes tumultuous terrain of insurance sales.
"InsureMe loves its agents and the greater agent community," says James Omdahl, InsureMe marketing strategist, who also directs and edits the videos. "If we can provide them with sales tips to keep them in the game and give them a laugh, that's a big win in our book."
Amy Popp, an American Family agent who recently won $100 from a contest promoted on the Agent Blog Wrap-Up, said the videos are a fun and unique way to end the week. "And my son just loves them," she added.
While there's no statistical evidence to back it up, Jeb "McDreamy" Foster (a copywriter and contributor to the Agent Blog), has a sneaking suspicion that viewers of all ages tune in each week to see if famed statistician Peter Deusterman dons his notorious jean shorts and mullet wig.
"There's just no denying it," says Foster shaking his head, "Peter puts Andre Agassi's early 90s fashion sense to shame."
