	Yes this is possible you just need to install them in different directories. 
For example if you compile from source you can run WINE from root of source 
directory and you can have multiple source directories.
	But I really encourage you to report this regression to 
http://bugs.winehq.org . By reporting this problem to developers you will 
help developers to fix this regression so in future versions of WINE both 
your programs will work. In fact, reports of regressions is very important 
because they allow WINE team to find errors made by developers in new 
implementations.
