Hi L. Rahyen, Tks for your advice. > Does msjavx86b3805.exe installs correctly on clean WINE, without > ies4linux? > If it does, please ask ies4linux author for help because in this case > it is > he's fault. I have ies4linux, IE6, IE5.5, IE5, Sun j2re-1_4_2_12-windows-i586-p, etc.running on Ubuntu 7.04 (desktop) platform. They are working w/o much issue. A public site here refuses Sun java only allowing MS VM. IE6 crashes on visiting this site if with Sun java enabled. For such a reason I am compelled to install "msjavx86b3805.exe". As user I was unable to install both "msjavx86b3805.exe" then "MSJavWU_8073687b82d41db93f4c2a04af2b34d.exe". At end of installation Wine-dbg> popup waiting for input. If "su" as root I can install "msjavx86b3805.exe" and upgrade to "MSJavWU_8073687b82d41db93f4c2a04af2b34d.exe". However I can't find MS VM on IE6; Tools -> Internet properties -> Advanced They can't be found there. I tried several times without a breakthrough. B.R.
