you have gecko for wine installed? I play some games that require displaying a webpage in html format embedded in the game and I can't remember how it happened, but something prompted me to install a browser for wine to use. I said yes and the html works. On 5/31/07, Plummer, Dale <dale.plummer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I am trying to get a program that I wrote working on Ubunutu Feisty using wine. My program is written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and uses HTML help to deliver its help messages. So far everything work fine except the HTML help. When the user clicks on a control that is intended to bring up the help browser, nothing happens. In the visual basic program the call is something like this: HTMLHelp hWnd, SetHelpStrings(intHelpFile), HH_HELP_CONTEXT, lngMapNumber This works fine under Windows, but in wine, nothing is happening. No error message at all. I am very new at trying to get something going under wine. Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.
