Jose asked:
I am trying to install a Windows program and it claim for install MDAC 2.8
sp1, but an error occur and the program stop.

How do I get arround this?

By installing MDAC 2.8 sp1, of course.

The easiest way to do this is (sadly) to open a terminal window and
give the commands
 wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
 sh winetricks fakeie6 mdac28

You might need to run winetricks a second time if mdac
installation fails the first time (that's bug 5824 in wine),

Let us know if that works for you. Also let us know what version
of wine you're using. winetricks assumes a recent wine
(0.9.30 or higher, more or less, I think).
