If it's just like that, something's probably corrupt, or your memory is
dodgy.
Memory page faults (=segfaults) date back to some smart alec 286
processor where they wanted to address 20 address lines, but only had 16
bit registers to address them from. So they cobbled up 4 bit 'paging
registers' and made a feature of a defect:-/.
