I've been searcing this newsgroup and other places for a solution to this and finally decided to post and see what anyone has to say. I am running Ubuntu 6.06 with Wine 0.9.30. The software that is giving me problems is Finale 97, a music notation program. Finale installs Truetype (.ttf) fonts for the special music notation characters. The display on the screen is fine. When I print, the characters are clipped off at the top. For instance, at the beginning of each measure is a treble clef sign, which looks sort of like a cursive letter G. The top loop is allways cut off. It also appears that text is clipped, such as the titles at the top of the page. This happens not only when I use the physical printer, but also if I print it to a PDF file. If I had to guess, I'd say that the fonts are not scaling up well, and are being truncated beyond....16 point...give or take. Thsi is ONLY a guess. I'm open to suggestions here. Anyone run into this before? Got any answers? TIA Goog _______________________________________________ wine-users mailing list wine-users@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.winehq.org/mailman/listinfo/wine-users
