Depending on what version of Wine you are running, that ActiveX control may not work very well. Around may of 2006 (this year) some things were done to remove the dependence on this control. Some of the stuff wasn't fully implemented (and still isn't). However, if I read your error output correctly, you might benefit from 0.9.24 if you aren't already using it. It fixes an OLE issue that you appear to have (it is related to the ActiveX control... I don't know the full details, but have looked at the code and it was also an issue with my app until 0.9.24 which is why I'm familiar with it) It should make your app work. However, there may be an issue with sub-windowing. If you get a window that appears on your root window instead of inside your main window (You may not have this issue with 0.9.24... I see it with GSAK) then I can direct you to the bug I've already posted. Hopefully the new version will help you get things running (again, if you aren't already using 0.9.24). If you are already using 0.9.24, then you'll have to try your old method for fixing the problem. Either that, or go back to version 0.9.15, which might work for you. I would definitely try 0.9.24 first though. adam0509 wrote: > Hi ! > > I've done several things, I've was blocked on several things, but this > time it's serious ! > > > It's just after : "Connecing to steam account Steam : xxx@xxxxxxxxxx", > I got a window displaying > "steam.exe (main exception): Win32 Structuredexception at xxxxxx : > attempt to read from virtual adress 0 without appropriate...etc..." > > > In console I got : > > ====================== CODE ====================== > err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} > not registered > err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object > {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} could be created for for context > 0x1 vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv > err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} > not registered > err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object > {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} could be created for for context > 0x1 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 0.9.24 should help fix the above... _______________________________________________ wine-users mailing list wine-users@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.winehq.org/mailman/listinfo/wine-users
