I hear you loud & clear, but I can't replicate it. I get immediate
segfaults under wine or m$ windows 98. I have downloaded the binary, and
have it on a CDROM as well. This install uses a (good) java-1.4.2
installation on the disk to run an installer :-/.

I went along with the ies4linux setup as per instructions, and wine
bombed there too. The one difference is that I have the Fedora drivers .
The three java binaries all crash immediately. At a casual glance, it
seems to be video related, because my screen is screwed until I restart
X :-P.
