No idea.  It would help to post a recipe showing how to
reproduce the problem, ideally without having to buy any software.

There is plenty of interest in using BDE; see e.g.

but I don't know if anyone is working on it actively.

I have already try it. But still got the same problem

bukuweb@bukuweb:~$ cabextract bdeinst.cab
bdeinst.cab: WARNING; possible 4536 extra bytes at end of file.
Extracting cabinet: bdeinst.cab
  extracting BdeInst.dll

All done, no errors.

BdeInst is no probelm to extract but still can not solve my problem. Any solution maybe ??? And your example is for mysql database. My problem is to connect MS SQL. Any issue maybe ??
