ive installed successfull diablo 2 LoD within X11 and wine.
But now when i try to start lod it says, i need the cd to play.
CD is inserted, path in regsitry is exact, mounted it successfull.
Try the following:
1) Run "wine winecfg", go to Drives tab. Make sure that drive
letter for your
CD-ROM exist. If not then create it. Select it. Press "Show
Advanced" button.
Choose "CD-ROM" type for your CD-ROM (this is important for many
games).
Press OK button to close winecfg and apply your new settings.
2) Run the game by the following command: "wine
explorer /desktop=Game,800x600 game.exe". Please note that if you
run Diablo
2 without explorer will fail to run (at least this is true for
Diablo 2
without LoD; I havn't LoD so cannot check).
3) If this doesn't help, post your Wine version and tell place
where you
downloaded Wine (distrib repository, winehq, etc).
