Thanks for your prompt response. Unfortunately, using both the built in ie via 'wine iexplore www.asdf.com' and 'wine /fullpath/ie6.exe address.com' led to the same result (see copied output below). Surprisingly, i dl'd firefox and it works flawlessly. IE6 i've trying installing via winetools as well as from an independent exe file. In both cases I received errors about initpki.dll and cryptdlg.dll upon install, but I can't tell from the debugging output whether those libs are important. Are there any recommended, nonstandard ie6 packages i should be using with wine 1.9.20?
