I've found some bug reports related to yours in bugzilla (with keyword "CD"), like http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2986. I followed the described bugs, but found no suitable solution. In one case, a kernel update solved the problem. But your problem could be because of a copy protection. Some bug reports, like http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5549, look similar to yours. Some are outdated.

To exclude one trivial problem cause, please

1. delete your ~/.wine directory with rm -rf ~/.wine or so
2. redo the installation

If've you made this, or you're 100% you removed the your ~/.wine directory before, and the same problems appears again, then open a bug, like I discribed to you.

I know, this precise testing is a pain. I did it some dozens times. But care helped me, without much extra knowledge in most cases, to be able to run my whished applications.
