I have been having similar page fault errors as well with newer wine versions. So, I am stuck now at 0.9.17. Could this possibly have something to do with the proprietory graphics driver (I am using fglrx)? I recall a while ago that picasa (Google's software which uses wine) didn't work under fglrx but worked fine under X.org's open-source drivers. thanks, Osho On 8/15/06, Gavin Hamill <gdh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:

Em.. that part that gets the build-dependencies? :) Like I pasted before... sources.list: deb-src http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main # apt-get update # apt-get build-dep wine gdh@plip:~$ sudo apt-get build-dep wine Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Note, selecting libfontconfig1-dev for regex 'libfontconfig-dev' E: Build-dependencies for wine could not be satisfied. Are there any flags I should be passing to get more info as to which ones couldn't be satisfied?
