I have seen most of these fixme's and this "Operation not permitted"
myself when playing games. They still worked, just some rendering errors
sometimes.

It may be that the amount of messages is slowing wine down so much that
bw2 becomes unresponsive. Try running with WINEDEBUG="fixme-all"
