Hello, the wine-0.9.17 RPM for Mandriva Linux unfortunately has a bug in it which prevents the .wine directory from being created correctly. It can be fixed by running the following command as root ln -s /usr/share/wine /usr/local/share/wine Sorry for the inconvenience.
