i tried installing winxp from the boot disk onto wine, but it says i have to be ab admin, but i am on the root account. does anyone know why??
Ok, didn't read this too thoroughly, but are you saying you're trying to do a full XP installation in wine? I strongly recommend you think that over, it's not the way wine is supposed to work. It's for running/installing windows _applications_.
