I too also have the unfortunate need to run IE under Linux ...

I have tried to install IE6 with no luck, and just tried the built in version
mentioned, first time it started, it downloaded and installed Mozilla
ActiveX, and now it starts and stops immediately with the following
errors ...

fixme:shdocvw:IEWinMain "" 1
fixme:shdocvw:iecs_QueryInterface unknown interface
{00020400-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}

fixme:shdocvw:is_CanInPlaceActivate
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59} not
registered

fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no classfactory created for CLSID
{4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59}, hres is 0x80040154
fixme:shdocvw:is_OnUIActivate

Any idea why? Am I missing some component?

Suse 10.0 (using KDE)
PIII 1.0 Ghz

Wine 0.9.12

Thanks
