If the virus managed to work in wine, and if the virus managed to
infect some files, then it's possible the user could send that file to
someone else and infect them, but there are so many what if's at this
point that it wouldn't be worth worrying about.  The chance of passing
a virus infection on to another user, let alone being infected in the
first place, is incredibly low compared to windows, but technically
the chance still exists.
