I'm running a application which uses file locks via a Windows Share to share data among several clients. The programs runs fine on multiple machines via MS Windows, under vmware, and via win4lin. However, in wine, if any other machine is accessing the database file, the wine based version is locked out. Trying to start the application it reports: Error - Cannot Open Data File d:\\database This File is already open on this Workstation or it is set to Read Only Mode. I suppose this might also be a bug in smbfs, as this is the only implementation using that code.
