I am replying to a message from August[0]. I am experiencing the same problem and am wondering, whether anybody has found a solution? My Wine version is the one in Debian testing (20050628) and I did the initial setup with the ies4linux script[1]. IE6 works fine, but when I start the MS Office setup I get the message posted below. Thanks a lot, Frank [0] http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-users/2005-August/018556.html [1] http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/ Original message: > Hi all! > > I am trying to install Office 2000 in wine from 25/7/2005 (debian > package)... but I can't pass the following error: > > "Error 1918: Error installing OBDC driver.
