If you run wine alone then there pops up a screen that says it does not
like be run this way and hence also offeres a button to configure! Also
you may want to obtain the program winetools...

I just installed on my up to date FreeBSD 5.4 box. I'm a little
confused as to whether or not there are things I need to configure or not.
I went to go through the docs, and it was talking about using a file
named "config" as a template, and modifying from there. Well that file
didn't exist anywhere on my machine, or in the source I downloaded. In
fact, looking in the Wine CVS seems to show that the config file has
bee removed.
Searching online lead me to run winecfg, and setup some basic stuff,
and then try to run the program in question by doing "wine
<application>".
I can run notepad.exe without a problem, and I was also able to run
the installer for the application I was installing without a single
problem. When I run on "wine pgmanager.exe" though, I get the following:
err:syslevel:_CheckNotSysLevel Holding lock 0x9c380fe0 level 2
err:syslevel:_CheckNotSysLevel Holding lock 0x9c380fe0 level 2
err:syslevel:_CheckNotSysLevel Holding lock 0x9c380fe0 level 2
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger...
err:syslevel:_CheckNotSysLevel Holding lock 0x9c380fe0 level 2
How can I find out if I'm missing some necessary configuration
information, or files?
The application in question is PostgreSQL Manager Lite for Win32 which
can be found at www.sqlmanager.net <http://www.sqlmanager.net> .
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
