Joachim, could you please tell me how you've set up your Wine, perhaps
send the configuration file? You're the only one that has been able to
make the robots fight.
I would be very grateful.

No, the program is very "regular", no advanced or non-common programming
practices are used.
I have no idea why it isn't working. The only thing I can think of is
that it might involve the .ocx control called Comdlg32.ocx, which is
used to bring up the open file dialog. However, the open file dialog is
working until the user has selected a robot and clicks open.
I just tried it out very shortly with my WineTools configuration and it
installs OK (only warns about some renamings that can not be performed
of strange named robots;-) and I can
- load robots
- let them fight
but I can not run the drafting board I get an automation error and can
read on the console:
