Wine tries to resolve your /home/wparish/wine-hdd to a mapped directory.
You should make a link in ~/.wine/dosdevices like

ln -s /home/wparish/wine-hdd ~/.wine/dosdevices/h:

to have your directory mapped as a drive H:.
