For the time being, I have reverted to kernel 2.6.8 (debian-amd64
pure64: 2.6.8-11) which at least lets me run wine without immediately
seg faulting. Warcraft III is still not running (cdrom problem, probably
the copy protection), but Baldur's Gate and Caesar III are.

I'll try to dig into the W3 problem first. Could take a while, the log I
just generated is over 270 MB, and that was only starting up the app up
until it checks for the drive. If anyone is interested I can put a
gzip'd version of it for download somewhere.
