After I sent this, I realized it should also go to the list. ----- Forwarded message from Charles Curley <charlescurley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ----- Date: Thu, 10 Feb 2005 11:02:44 -0700 From: Charles Curley <charlescurley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: Joachim von Thadden <thadden@xxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Wine]Wine tools problems? All you have to do is get the proper symlink for your serial device (http://www.winehq.org/site/docs/wine-user/config-drive-main#CONFIG-DRIVE-SECTIONS, sec. 5.5.4). Use the SA8 initialisation code defaults (GPS-> Initialize), and away you go. My machine is indoors, so the receiver won't get a fix. However, if you look at the raw data, you should see raw data from the GPS going by. -- Charles Curley /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign Looking for fine software \ / Respect for open standards and/or writing?
