This seems like some configuration errors. May I suggest as a start using the latest version of wine via the SuSE RPMs on the winehq downloads page? They should install pretty painlessly. I also know that work was done on the builtin wine versions of the DLLs you're using. Also, if you do get things working, I'd really like to talk with you more to write up a success story for the website. Heck, I'd even be willing to talk with you on the phone a bit.
