I don't know why it doesn't come up with more programs. I've not seen this before either.
We have AutoCAD installations at my office, running under Windows 2000 and Windows XP Pro. AutoCAD requires that it be run as Administrator. Not just for installation, but also for use. (IIRC, it also has to be the Administrator account, not some other account with the same rights.) Plays hell with maintaining security on the student AutoCAD workstations!
I have no idea if any registry tweaks would help. The Windows security model is obscure and arcane!
