Do they stop while Wine is running, or do they stop later after Wine has finished running? I am seeing a problem like this with wine-20041019 and xorg-x11-6.8.0 when I leave X. My screen locks up and I do not get back to the console. If you see this problem while running Wine then we have different problems.
