[Wine]Help by running application

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

Im looking for a help.
It is possible (and how can i) correctly setup wine if:

1. The DOS/Windows application need 4 disk still connected from server (NT 4.0) to local machine (Linux - MDK) like drives:

Through the samba a connected 4 network disk:

       \\SERVER_RV\Drive_H     is connect to /mnt/Drive_H  - this is disk with database
       \\SERVER_RV\Drive_I      is connect to /mnt/Drive_I    - here are format files for printing and viewing
       \\SERVER_RV\Drive_J      is connect to /mnt/Drive_J    - system files - *.exe, *.bat, *.dll, ...
       \\SERVER_RV\Drive_K     is connect to /mnt/Drive_K  - users folders with special setup

2. In /home/xxx/.wine/conf add

[Drive H]
"Path" = "/mnt/Drive_H"
"Type" = "network"
"Label" = "H"
"Filesystem" = "win95"

and other disk etc...

( please view attached file)

3. Application run like this

>From "/mnt/Drive_K/User1" must run "95.bat"
(please view attached file)

The windows *.dll is in Drive_J/sys_95/

Application load all system files and then open a database file on Drive_H.

3. The problem could be that application runs in windows "like DOS app". Please see this picture:

pic

4. It is possible run the application only from 1 network disk.

Please if u need more information ask me.

Slavomir.
