Hello,

I am running wine under gentoo successfully incl. some basic MS Office
suite. (Compiled from source downloaded from winehq.)

I had problems with typing Czech characters under KDE 3.2, later I found
that I must have LANG="cs_CZ" setup when running wine application (I use
English language as default, but want to type Czech characters). So,
this works now (I can switch keybords within KDE).

However, I do not like the way how e.g. MS Excel treats decimal point,
date display, etc. (I would prefer English style again).

I checked regedit - under various branches of Control Panel it shows
only "United States" regional settings with all the details (which is
what I need). Also, win.ini shows only "United States".

So, it seems that wine does not use this information because I use
LANG="cs_CZ" in order to get keyboard work correctly. I tried to set
LC_NUMERIC="en_US", however nothing has changed.

Can you help?

Milan
