Hello, I've installed wine-20031118 binaries (because compiling from source didn't work) on my FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE. Also i have Windows 2003 Enterprise mounted on /mnt/windows (Windows interprets it's partition as E:). At first, of course, I've run calc.exe :-), it worked OK except some "fixme" debug messages. Then I tried to run Namo WebEditor 6 (big and nasty, Dreamweaver-like website development and design tool). And I get this: bash-2.05b# wine WebEditor.exe fixme:reg:_nt_dump_lf unknown Win XP node id 0x686c: do we need to add support for it ? fixme:reg:_nt_dump_lf unknown Win XP node id 0x686c: do we need to add support for it ? fixme:reg:_nt_dump_lf unknown Win XP node id 0x686c: do we need to add support for it ? fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub fixme:ole:CoCreateInstance no classfactory created for CLSID {4955dd33-b159-11d0-8fcf-00aa006bcc59}, hres is 0x80040150 fixme:imagehlp:ImageLoad (WebEditor.exe, E:\Program Files\Namo\WebEditor 6\bin): stub wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger... Namo's logo shows up but nothing happens after that. Anyone tried/would try for me to run this software on FreeBSD? My config is attached. Linas P.S. I promise to send a postcard from my country to a dude, who will solve my problem ;-).
