There are 5 sym links, three are of the format c: and two are of the format f::. What is the difference??
Can I make a new sym link by simply creating one??
You can just create new sym links. The original ones were created based on the contents of the config file.
Do I need to keep config current or is config now redundant??
The drives portion is now redundant. I keep the entries around because I sometimes revert back to an older version of Wine. But if you never look back, you don't need the entries.
