It is not a not-free-as-in-beer product. If you look at the TransGaming download page http://www.transgaming.com/download.php you'll see that the CVS version can be downloaded for free. If you also read the license http://www.transgaming.com/license.php?source=1 you'll see that binary RPMs can be built and distributed free of charge. Have a nice day.
