It's because you are trying to use proprietary software. It's fate that is keeping it from working!!! MWAHAHAHAH AFAIK you can't play in battle.net with a cracked version, unless you have the battle.net enabler (which modifies something in the registry). Thus you have to do the same modification in the wine's registry... and I don't know if that even works (my experience with wine registry is rather limited) Blizzard games usually run ok under wine, but I've never heard of battle.net working under wine. perhaps what's givin the error is actually the message box of 'cd not found' that appears when you run an uncracked version with a not-original copy of the game... Do you have the orginal game (the pretty one in that beautyful box that has soooo many pretty pictures (screenshots) of the characters and the one with the sexy assasin and the druid in the cover)??
