This can be found there: "5.11.2.1.3. Installation of *other* printers You do not need to do this if the above 2 sections apply, only if you have a special printer." And I really did not bother myself with this section because 5.11.2.1.2 is about "Installation of LPR /etc/printcap based printers", though it did not work... (OK, there is a bit difference using LPRng: the multiline printer definitions in the printcap file needn't be contain '\' in the end of each lines. So LPRng understand LPR (or lpd?) (old)style printcap but not vice versa.) Anyway... the lines below, or section 5.11.2.1.3 is the solution for me. > > and finally the tail of my .wine/fake_windows/Windows/win.ini: > > [...] > > [devices] > > That really does need to say > Wine PostScript Driver=WINEPS,LPT1: > > I could be mistaken, but I believe the "Wine PostScript Driver" part > refers to the heading in the registry. > > > [windows] > > device=generic,WINEPS,LPR:generic > > Same there, and you also need the PrinterPorts section. Now, I have problem with generated PS file: some special Hungarian letters ([ouOU]doubleacute), which appear correctly on the display, are missing from the PS output. (I tested only for M$ Times New Roman, installed by msttcorefonts. From OpenOffice.org, I have no problem to print these letters.) Does it depend on the PS driver of wine or on what?
