As Marcus said at wineconf 2002, the end user doesn't want to know wine is there, they just want to click on a windows program and see it start. And I agree with him. And if microsoft wanted to support linux, it would be easy, linux is open source and well documented. Also, if wine installation can be easily done with well working binaries,why waste time with source?
