G'Day All,
I have installed wine on a RH9 box and am trying to install an application but have an error.
A box popped up with the following:
The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be installed
IKernel.exe could not be copied to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel 32'.
Make sure that you have the appropriate privileges to copy files to this folder. (0x20)

There have been some very recent Installshield fixes put into Wine, the last week or so. Try running the very latest CVS version.
How do I fix this? I am logged on as root on the Linux box.
Please don't run Wine as root. It is not designed for that.
