Hello, Resending the patch. Probably Dimi could review it (I belive he had an interest to wxWindows) Problem: most wxWindows examples (like 'layout' example) don't show menu bar on start-up. Cause: SetMenu was limited to update client/non-client only if window is visible, while MS Windows SetMenu updates it anyway.
