I have a small request from the wine-users list. The entire idea with using free software is that, if something doesn't work 100% right, you don't have to work around the problem. You can also simply fix the problem. While it is true that not all of you are capable of looking into the wineboot code, all of you have the ability to set the environment up to test it.

If wineboot doesn't start an installation, or doesn't complete it properly, it is better (and probably easier) to fix wineboot.

Viveka, can you please explain again what happened? When running "wineboot", the message poped up saying "you need to reboot windows"?
