I've never gotten devfs to compile a bootable on any kernel version, so
I don't really know what to tell you. I can tell you that the nptl stuff
was backported into the kernel by RH, so you seem to be stuck. Try
compiling your vanilla kernel and wine without nptl support and see what
happens.
