Kernel options for Wine ?

I've tried to install Wine both the source code version as the RPM
version from both July 2003 as the release of June 2003 on RedHat 9.

But after trying 'wine sol' I get this output (after pressing CTRL C):

wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0044), starting debugger...
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 003c), starting debugger...

A few weeks ago I installed a new kernel (2.4.21) from source. I
switched off a lot of kernel options, maybe one too much. So : are there
any linuxkernel options needed to be able to run Wine ? If yes : which ?
