I discovered a need for winetrick to install Quicken 2012 Home and Business Since Quicken H&B 2012 is still is a 32 bit application and uses .net 2.0 this may work for your older Quicken version. I run gentoo linux. It was a bit of a hassle to get it to compile any version of wine above 1.5.6, but I finally get all the way to 1.5.14. The I discovered export WINEARCH=win32 winecfg <select Windows 7> <Graphics --> uncheck "Allow the window manager to control the windows set Screen resolution to 104 as the fonts are small> winetricks dotnet20 wine <path to your install .exe file>
