This seems to be a common and on-going problem. One solution that I've read is to copy crypt32.dll from a windows installation into your WINEPREFIX windows directory and setting the override to native for internet explorer: http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=7314&sid=0e6374db8e020792bf24984a2822e492 The other common issue is the inability to import the SSL certificate, for which I haven't yet found a solution after some Googling.
