That fits with its philosophy: install only stable packages for long-term maintenance. The same almost certainly applies to CentOS since its an RHEL clone. If you want RedHat bleeding edge, go with Fedora, not RHEL. I'm running Fedora 16 and can confirm that it is currently on Wine 1.5.3 following an update last Thursday. It is usually within 2-3 releases of the latest version, even allowing for my weekly updating schedule. Martin
