Bug reports at winetricks.org are preferred, but since I saw this thread just now, I tested winetricks dotnet11sp1 with current wine (1.5.5). It completed, but generated two bogus errors; I've fixed them in winetricks svn. Please try wine-1.4 (or wine-1.5.5) with winetricks svn, i.e. http://winetricks.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/winetricks and report whether it works for you.
