I've just compiled and installed the latest wine (wine-20030618), and
tried to start notepad using "wine notepad.exe".
The errors I'm getting are listed below. Can anyone tell me what causes this?
My wine.conf is included below, also. I'm running the following system:
Linux Dingo 2.4.21-0.13mdk #1 Fri Mar 14 15:08:06 EST 2003 i686 GNU/Linux
wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger... err:win:GetDesktopWindow Wine init error: either you're trying to use an invalid native USER.EXE config, or some graphics/GUI libraries or DLLs didn't initialize properly. Aborting.
Perhaps you had a previous Wine installation, which had components installed in different locations from the new one?
