I also saw the "crashing when downloading" issue. Just relaunching the client "fixes" it, but of course that is not a permanent solution (yay for babysitting a 12.8GB download). Anyways, looking at my error logs I get one of two errors when the client crashes: Code: *--> Error Logs <--* GetLogicalProcessorInformation failed, increase buffer bytes to 1536 Download failed for 0x000043ab:0x00000000->0x000043ab with error 7:0:0:0 (error:product:module:line) [tries left: 5] *--> Crash <--* Exception: c0000005 Memory at address 00000000 could not be read App: Gw2.exe Pid: 35 Cmdline: BaseAddr: 00400000 ProgramId: 101 Build: 13985 When: 2012-04-13T23:51:19Z 2012-04-14T01:51:19+02:00 Uptime: 0 days 0:08:04 Flags: 0 alternatively Code: *--> Error Logs <--* GetLogicalProcessorInformation failed, increase buffer bytes to 1536 Download failed for 0x00006568:0x00000000->0x00006568 with error 7:0:0:0 (error:product:module:line) [tries left: 5] *--> Crash <--* Assertion: m_ioCount File: ..\..\..\Core\Platform\Windows\Exe\ExeIoConn.cpp(129) App: Gw2.exe Pid: 68 Cmdline: BaseAddr: 00400000 ProgramId: 101 Build: 13985 When: 2012-04-13T23:57:19Z 2012-04-14T01:57:19+02:00 Uptime: 0 days 0:03:36 Flags: 0 Regarding the log-in screen, it looks (and sounds) nice for me too. The only thing is that the maximize/minimize/close buttons look a little "off". And yay, tomorrow is the day! :P
