I also saw the "crashing when downloading" issue. Just relaunching the client "fixes" it, but of course that is not a permanent solution (yay for babysitting a 12.8GB download).

Anyways, looking at my error logs I get one of two errors when the client crashes:

Code:
*--> Error Logs <--*
GetLogicalProcessorInformation failed, increase buffer bytes to 1536
Download failed for 0x000043ab:0x00000000->0x000043ab with error 7:0:0:0 (error:product:module:line) [tries left: 5]

*--> Crash <--*

alternatively

Code:
*--> Error Logs <--*

Regarding the log-in screen, it looks (and sounds) nice for me too. The only thing is that the maximize/minimize/close buttons look a little "off".

And yay, tomorrow is the day! :P
